After being delivered new to its first owner in Uzzano – Italy, #1886 spent some time in a collection in Japan before making its way to the US and eventually Switzerland, allegedly having had a total of 4 owners.

Presented in its original shade of Blu Stratos, over black leatherette and blue inserts, this particular motorcar has never received a full restoration.

The interior has received a partial retrim, but the dashboard retains its original patinated “mousehair” finish, along with its lightweight Glaverbel glass.

A well preserved example of the first ever purpose built rally car, it remains a joy to drive with its lively handling and glorious sounding V6.
